The article reports a decrease in live pig purchase prices in the European Union and Poland, with figures showing a decrease of 2% in a week and 4% in a month, and an 8% decrease compared to the same period in 2023. This trend is observed in 21 out of 27 EU countries, with the most significant decreases in the Czech Republic and Latvia. In Poland, the price was 1% lower than the EU average and 5% and 2% lower than in Germany and Spain, respectively. The prices for pork, live cattle, and beef, as well as live and processed poultry, are also discussed, showing various trends and comparisons to previous periods.
