, is designed to expand the categories of crops and ensure year-round supply from the company's owned agricultural operations. The first step took place in 2023 with the establishment of an agricultural entity in Morocco, focusing on 1,000 hectares of avocados, 400 hectares of citrus, and diversification into crops adapted to local conditions. Earlier this month, the second entity was established in Peru following the acquisition of Don Fermín, a citrus and avocado farm in Chincha. According to the new owners, the Peruvian farm allows for coverage of 10 to 11 months a year, bringing closer the goal of a continuous global supply. The Peruvian portfolio includes Hass avocados and citrus varieties such as Nadorcott and Primosole. The farms are expected to provide higher yields due to the region's growing conditions, as well as lower input costs compared to Israel.
