Turkey: Melikgazi's native seeds turned into products

Harvest time has started in chickpea and safflower production, for which Melikgazi Municipality provides seed support to farmers. Melikgazi Agriculture and Forestry Manager Okay Sağnak, Ağırnas Neighborhood Headman Muharrem Uzun and Küçük Bürüngüz Neighborhood Headman Hacı Bölük visited Melikgazi Mayor Mustafa Palancıoğlu and thanked them for their support to agriculture. Stating that as Melikgazi Municipality, their support to local producers will continue to increase, Mayor Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "As Melikgazi Municipality, we distributed safflower seeds and chickpea seeds for the first time this year. Our farmers have planted them. Now it's time to harvest, it is possible to turn into a product. Hopefully, aspirin will be the first time in September.
