REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman emphasized the government's commitment to farmers by increasing the government purchase price (GPP) for rice. Amran also emphasized the courage to confront rice mafias to protect the interests of farmers, consumers, and maintain national food stability. The Minister said one of the main policies was to increase the government purchase price (GPP) for rice to Rp6,500 per kilogram, as a manifestation of the government's commitment to farmers according to the direct instructions of President Prabowo Subianto.
