The Mexican Ministry of Agriculture has highlighted the country's leadership in agricultural exports, particularly in beer, tequila, pork, beef, avocado, and animal feed, which are exported to 130 countries, including distant destinations like New Zealand, Kenya, and the Republic of Mauritius. Mexico's focus on food safety and quality has positioned it as the seventh-largest exporter globally. The ministry also emphasizes the importance of export diversification, especially to countries with a Muslim majority, using halal certification for products like aloe vera, cocoa, chicken meat, and dairy. With over 40 companies and more than 60 products now halal certified, Mexico is leveraging these markets in Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America to enhance export opportunities.
