Midagri declares the holding of the VII Latin American Avocado Congress of interest

By Ministerial Resolution No. 0435-2025-Midagri, the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) declared the "VII Latin American Avocado Congress" of interest to the sector, which will take place from November 17 to 19, 2025, at the facilities of the ESAN University, in the city of Lima. The event, organized by the Association of Avocado Producers and Exporters of Peru (ProHass), constitutes a space of high-level technical meeting and exchange that promotes competitiveness, sustainability, and innovation in avocado production, directly benefiting producers—especially those in family farming—and contributing to strengthening the national agrarian economy. The topics to be addressed during the Congress will be strategic for the competitive and sustainable development of the Peruvian avocado value chain, with a focus on family agrarian economy.
