With the aim of strengthening highland family agriculture and consolidating the position of the "Peruvian Golden Grain" in the most demanding markets globally, the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), through Agromercado, delivered agricultural equipment and machinery valued at S/165,875 to 23 organizations of small quinoa producers in the Puno region. Within the framework of the ProQuinua public investment project, the distribution of equipment and supplies was carried out, which will directly benefit 1,451 small farmers—mostly women—from seven provinces of the highland, improving the conditions of harvesting, post-harvesting, and access to value-added markets.
