Mild weather reduces pace of sweet corn plantings

The economic report released this Thursday (16) by Emater/RS-Ascar indicates that the development of sweet corn crops is slow in the administrative region of Lajeado, in Bom Princípio, due to the mild climate and colder nights. Even with the more regular rains, which left some areas more humid, planting was able to be carried out. Currently, few crops are in production, and the supply in the market is low. The price remains stable, with an average of R$ 4.00 per tray with three cobs.
