Data from TÜİK reveals a 4.7% increase in cow milk collection in Turkey in January, reaching over 915,000 tons. Commercial dairy enterprises also experienced a 6% rise in drinking milk production, amounting to nearly 154,000 tons. Despite a 7.1% decrease in total milk production in 2022, the amount of cow milk transferred to the industry saw a 4.8% increase last year. This upward trend continues into this year, offering potential solutions to quantity and profit challenges in the sector.
