Brazil: Milk producers in RS gain new tool for price planning

Milk producers in Rio Grande do Sul now have a new tool to estimate the price that will be paid per liter of milk. The virtual calculator, validated by Conseleite, was developed with the aim of providing more information for planning dairy farming activities and helping producers organize their accounts. For 50 years, dairy farming has been an essential part of Fazenda Griebeler, located in Montenegro, in Vale do Caí. The farm, which started with just one cow, now has 65 lactating cows, producing around 1,300 liters of milk per day.
