Russia's milk production saw a 3.1% increase in the first ten months of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021, reaching 4.8 million tons. October's milk production was also up by 1.8% compared to October 2021. However, the production of sour cream and cottage cheese decreased by 0.5% and 7.3% respectively compared to the same period in 2021. Butter production saw an 11.7% increase in the first ten months of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021, producing 264.1 thousand tons. Cheese production also saw an increase of 2.8% in the same period, producing 548.9 thousand tons.
