Indonesia's Minister of Agriculture, Andi Amran Sulaiman, has approved Qatari agricultural companies, specifically Baladna, to invest in the country's dairy farming sector. The goal is to produce two million tons of milk annually to decrease reliance on imports and achieve self-sufficiency by 2029, in line with the Agricultural Blueprint. This decision was inspired by a discussion between Sulaiman and the Indonesian Ambassador to Qatar, Ridwan Hassan, during a transit stop at Doha International Airport. Sulaiman also stressed the importance of professionalism and meritocracy in public administration.
