The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) must be preserved as a strong and autonomous policy, structured in two pillars, with an independent budget that guarantees the necessary income for agricultural producers. This was stated by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Georgi Tahkov during a meeting on the topic "The New Common Agricultural Policy after 2027," organized by the ministry. Agricultural producers actively contribute to food security, the viability of rural areas, climate protection, environmental protection, and biodiversity. To achieve these goals, a stable and predictable policy framework, support for agricultural producers, and all rural communities is necessary, the minister noted.
