Paraguay's livestock market is projected to experience a decrease in vaccine stocks by approximately 220,000 due to the entry of a new chilling industry and existing plants increasing their capacity. The new and expanded plants, including Frigorífico Chajha and FrigoChorti, are expected to significantly increase the country's processing capacity by mid-2023. The total faena for 2023 is anticipated to be around 1.8 million cows, in line with the national quarantine to prevent a decrease in the roedo ganadero.
