(Agraria.pe) 2,060,000 turkeys, all produced in the country, will supply the tables of Peruvians during the end-of-year holidays (Christmas and New Year 2026), reported the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri). Of that total, 1,710,000 turkeys will be distributed through corporate sales and supermarket chains, as whole frozen turkey; while 344,000 turkeys will be marketed in poultry distribution centers as live turkey.
