Morocco is the top importer of Tunisian dates

Morocco ranked first among importers of Tunisian dates during the 2022-2023 season, with a share of 17.7 percent. That is the equivalent of 22.9 thousand tons, according to what was revealed by the National Agricultural Observatory, today, Monday. Italy came in second place among the destinations that received Tunisian date exports, with an amount equivalent to 7.8 percent, followed by France, with a percentage of 7.6 percent. Europe attracted, according to the continental distribution of date exports. Tunisia, the largest share at 48.7 percent, followed by Africa with 25.2 percent, then Asia with 14.9 percent.
