The Moscow region has taken the lead in Russia's meat export market in the first quarter of 2021, exporting meat products worth $46.5 million, a nearly double increase compared to the same period last year. The region's exports included $21.64 million worth of poultry meat, $21.47 million of beef, and $3.31 million of pork. China emerged as the primary importer of these products, with imports of chicken by-products reaching 9.46 thousand tons valued at $29.7 million. The main contributors to these exports were the companies 'TD Cherkizovo', 'TC' Miratorg', and 'Rastling'.
