Brazil: Sugarcane sector exported US$ 312 million between January and October 2022

From January to October 2022, Mato Grosso do Sul exported US$ 312 million in sugar-energy products, according to Mapa (Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply). The volume was approximately 675 million tons. This is the subject of this Monday's #MercadoAgropecuário (05). The value represents 4.69% of all agribusiness exports in the state. Raw sugar accounted for 72.7% of exports, totaling US$ 227 million. Next, ethyl alcohol at 22.3% and refined sugar at 4.9%. The main destination was the Netherlands with 17.9% share.
