The production of cultivated mushrooms increased by 16% compared to the previous year. State support for domestic producers, concessional lending, plus the enthusiasm of the pioneers made it possible to make a mushroom breakthrough. Domestic companies have significantly pressed foreign suppliers, acquired professional communication platforms, a specialized exhibition, a magazine, and even entered export deliveries. Six years ago, large mushroom growing projects appeared in Russia. Prior to this, the production of champignons and oyster mushrooms existed and developed in small farms.
