Jeonnam Province announced that this year's comprehensive agricultural policy evaluation results designated Haenam County as the target. The top award went to Yeonggwang County and Yeongam County, the excellence awards went to Jangheung County, Goheung County, Hampyeong County, Jangheung County, and Muan County, and the effort award went to Gurye County. The comprehensive agricultural policy evaluation is conducted to comprehensively check the agricultural policy achievements of cities and counties, and it was carried out in 6 areas and 31 items, including the revitalization of agriculture and rural areas, the promotion of eco-friendly agriculture, the promotion of food and horticultural crop production, the expansion of agricultural product distribution channels and the promotion of the agri-food industry, the promotion of environmentally friendly green livestock farming, and the strengthening of animal disease control and livestock hygiene. Haenam County was selected for its efforts in promoting eco-friendly agriculture, expanding agricultural product distribution channels and industry promotion, food and horticultural crop production, and environmentally friendly green livestock farming.
