A team of NASA scientists is creating a global rapid crop assessment center using satellite imagery and artificial intelligence. Financial support is provided by tech giants such as Google and Microsoft, and the scientists gained key experience while working in Ukraine. This is reported by Bloomberg. The center will handle requests from regions affected by natural disasters and conflicts, using images from space, remote sensing, and artificial intelligence models to predict potential agricultural crises in time.
