Nestlé announced in a statement that it will invest around R$ 1 billion between 2025 and 2028 to modernize and expand its soluble coffee factory in Araras (SP). The investment is part of the R$ 7 billion plan that the company has set aside for Brazil this year. With the investment, the plant, which exports to 65 countries, will see a 10% increase in its production capacity. The modernization includes the installation of a new extraction line equipped with cutting-edge technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence applied to Advanced Process Control (APC). The system monitors variables such as roasting, humidity, and coloration, allowing for real-time adjustments and failure prediction.
