In Nghe An, a new variety of white potato plant has been cultivated for two years, earning local acclaim for its ease of care and quick harvest time of around 80-90 days, with a yield of approximately 18-20 tons per hectare. This crop is experiencing steady demand, with purchase prices set at 7,000 VND per kilogram. Dien Chau district has dedicated 220 hectares to this crop, predominantly supplied to businesses, as part of a wider effort to link production with consumption using disease-free potatoes and aeroponics technology, a scientific advancement that has found success in Nghe An province and is now being replicated in other areas.
