[Korea Farmers News Agency, reporter Kang Jae-nam] As the full-scale harvest season for Jeju open-field mandarin oranges approaches, the "farm-cation" combining harvest assistance and tourism is starting again. The Jeju Head Office of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (Head Office Director Ko Woo-il) announced that 20 employees from the agricultural distribution division of the agricultural cooperative visited the sister-linked Seogwipo Agricultural Cooperative for two days starting from the 20th to participate in the "Jeju-craving farm-cation" program. To commemorate the 13th anniversary of the sister-link between the Seogwipo Agricultural Cooperative and the agricultural cooperative distribution, the agricultural cooperative distribution visited mandarin orange farms that were short on harvest labor, providing support for mandarin orange harvesting and commercialization work. Additionally, participants of the "Jeju-craving farm-cation" received improved treatment allowances such as bathing fees and meal expenses in the local currency "Tamna."
