The National Palm Producers Association of Nigeria (NPPAN) and the Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Abuja, Nigeria, to boost the palm oil industry in both countries. The agreement aims to provide Nigerian smallholder farmers with access to advanced knowledge, technology, and economic opportunities, thereby enhancing the productivity and profitability of the sector. This partnership also aligns with Indonesia's ambitions to expand its palm oil market beyond its traditional borders, positioning Nigeria as a key partner in this expansion. The MoU is expected to strengthen the palm oil industry, contribute to economic growth, and enhance bilateral relations.
