A long-time member of Coopavel, she finds in the Rural Show the environment she needs to stay updated and to experiment with novelties little known to most Brazilians. In the 37th edition, in February 2025, Ida ended a years-long search: she found the Azuki (Japanese) bean she had heard so much about for its differentiated nutritional characteristics. Her great-great-grandparents, Prussians, came to Brazil in search of opportunities and had land cultivation as the target for the realization of their projects and dreams. The connection to the trade continued through the generations, and Mrs. Ida seeks, through dedication and constant search for new knowledge, to integrate into the new universe of commercial crops.
