North Changwon Agricultural Cooperative holds first shipment ceremony for "Changwon Bukmyeon Persimmon" to Canada

The North Changwon Agricultural Cooperative (President Park Hyo-do) held a shipment ceremony at the Changwon Agricultural Products Distribution Center (APC) on the 29th to commemorate the first export of Changwon persimmons to Canada. The ceremony was attended by President Park Hyo-do, Director Jo Hyeong-woo of the Gyeongnam Headquarters Economic Support Division of the Agricultural Cooperative, Director Jeong Sang-pan of the Changwon Branch Member Support Division, Director Kang Jong-sun of the Changwon Agricultural Technology Center, Representative Seo Min-ho of the Gyeongnam Provincial Assembly, Representatives Kwon Sung-hyun, Choi Eun-ha, and Kim Woo-jin of the Changwon City Council, Head Hong Sung-hee of the Buk-myeon Office, and Director Choi Sung-tae of the Gyeongnam Agricultural Technology Institute Persimmon Research Center, who all came together to celebrate the first export. The shipment volume for the first export to Canada on this day was 18 tons (1800 boxes of 10 kg each). The North Changwon Agricultural Cooperative plans to export over 550 tons this year.
