[Rural and Fisheries News=Reporter Park Yong-hwan] The Jeonbuk Buk-Iksan Agricultural Cooperative (Chairman Kim Deok-chu) held an emergency treatment education session on the second floor of its main branch in Iksan last month 28th to prepare for emergency situations that may occur in rural areas. This education was organized to minimize casualties and increase the survival rate of cardiac arrest patients by ensuring rapid response in crisis situations in rural areas where emergency response is vulnerable due to aging. The education session, attended by around 60 people including the Iksan Agricultural Cooperative Farmers' Wives Association (President An Sun-nyeo) and staff members, was conducted with the support of the Korea Rural Community Corporation. Furthermore, the training, which was conducted by an emergency medical technician from the Korea Emergency Treatment Education Institute, included various hypothetical real-life situations.
