In October, Norway experienced a 2% increase in fresh cod exports, reaching 1,774 tons with a value of NOK 115 million, with the Netherlands, Denmark, and Latvia being the primary markets. Farmed cod made up 54% of the value, with a 26% increase year-on-year, while wild fresh cod exports saw a 16% decrease to 781 tons, valued at NOK 53 million. Additionally, there was a 23% decrease in the export volume of 3,286 tons of frozen cod, despite a 5% increase in export value, with China, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam as the leading markets.
