Norwegian salmon and trout exports both up in July

Seafood exports were worth NOK 727 million, up 6% year-on-year. Poland, Denmark and the Netherlands were the main export destinations. In July, salmon exports totaled 107,442 tons, worth NOK 9.6 billion, up 13% year-on-year, and NOK 262 million, up 3% year-on-year. Poland, the Netherlands and the United States were the largest export markets. Salmon prices fell further in July, and the increase in export value was driven by the depreciation of the Norwegian krone.
