In the first five months of the year, Norway's salmon exports to China increased by 123% in total volume and 58% in total value, reaching a cumulative export value of 3.2 billion Norwegian kroner (approximately $304 million). Sigmund Bjørgo, Norway Seafood Council representative in China, stated, "Price competitiveness and emerging digital sales channels are key to this growth."
