Norwegian salmon prices continue to rise

According to the Nasdaq Salmon Index, the weighted average weekly selling price index for fresh Atlantic premium salmon, gutted with head, according to a group of Norwegian salmon exporters and salmon producers, increased to NOK 122.63 ($10.61, EUR 9.60) per kilogram in the sixteenth week of 2023. This represents an average price increase of 2.85 percent, or NOK 3.40 ($0.32, €0.29) from NOK 119.24 ($11.23, €10.16), about reported last week, Nasdaq reports.
