Chicken meat and egg exports from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, saw significant increases in November. Chicken meat exports rose by 20.8% to 67.2 thousand tons and generated 46.7% more revenue at US$ 142.6 million, compared to the same month last year. From January to November, there was a 7.7% increase in chicken meat shipments, reaching 695.8 thousand tons, and a 28.9% increase in revenue to US$ 1.38 billion. Egg exports also surged by 25.2% in November, achieving 233.4 tons and revenue of US$ 755.9 thousand. From January to November, egg exports increased by 49.3% to 2.55 thousand tons, and revenue grew by 110.9% to US$ 8.1 million. The poultry sector in Rio Grande do Sul is experiencing growth, but high costs and economic challenges continue to affect food trade. Brazil's chicken meat exports also saw an increase, reaching 375.6 thousand tons in November, a 12.2% rise from the same period last year. However, egg shipments experienced a decrease, falling by 44.2% to 393.9 tons in November.
