The Novosibirsk region in Russia is on track to achieve 80% self-sufficiency in poultry meat by 2023, despite a surge in demand leading to a shortage of eggs and chicken meat. However, the region's poultry farms have produced a surplus of eggs, leading to a decrease in selling prices. Significant investments are being made in the sector, with the Chikskaya Poultry Farm planning to invest 2 billion rubles in modernization by 2030, expected to increase egg production by 1.5 times. Additionally, the Ulybinsk Poultry Farm is set to reach full production capacity this year, aiming to produce 18 thousand tons of duck meat annually.
