REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Andi Amran Sulaiman officially became the new Head of the National Food Agency (Bapanas/NFA) on Monday (13/10/2025). He replaced Arief Prasetyo Adi. The handover of duties took place in a limited ceremony at the Bapanas Office in Ragunan, South Jakarta. In his statement to the media, Amran emphasized that he was only following the orders of President Prabowo Subianto. “Because we are just following orders, following orders from our superiors. But we know that the Food Agency, previously under the Ministry of Agriculture, also included quarantine,” said the figure from South Sulawesi. On the same occasion, Amran expressed appreciation for the previous Head of Bapanas.
