On December 2, the "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" rose by 0.29 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on December 2, the "200 Index of Agricultural Wholesale Prices" was 127.82, up 0.29 points from yesterday, and the wholesale price index for "grocery basket" products was 130.30, up 0.34 points from yesterday. As of 2:00 PM today, the average wholesale price of pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 17.59 yuan/kg, down 1.2% from yesterday; beef was 66.88 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from yesterday; mutton was 63.22 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday; eggs were 7.44 yuan/kg, up 1.5% from yesterday; and white striped chicken was 17.61 yuan/kg, down 1.6% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.87 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.30 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Carp was 19.24 yuan/kg, down 0.8% from yesterday; crucian carp was 13.64 yuan/kg, down 1.2% from yesterday; silver carp was 9.90 yuan/kg, down 3.9% from yesterday; and large ribbonfish was 40.08 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from yesterday.

Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products in the domestic wholesale market that are under key monitoring, the top five with price increases compared to yesterday were watermelon, cauliflower, eggplant, zucchini, and flat mushrooms, with increases of 3.9%, 2.6%, 2.2%, 2.1%, and 1.9% respectively; the top five with price decreases were pineapple, silver carp, Chinese cabbage, white radish, and scallions, with decreases of 5.3%, 3.9%, 2.7%, 2.4%, and 1.7% respectively.
