On December 29, the "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" dropped by 0.46 points compared to last Friday.

According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on December 29, the "200 Index of Agricultural Products Wholesale Prices" was 129.66, down 0.46 points from last Friday, and the wholesale price index for "grocery basket" products was 132.47, down 0.53 points from last Friday. As of 2:00 PM today, the average wholesale price of pork in national agricultural products wholesale markets was 17.67 yuan/kg, up 1.4% from last Friday; beef was 66.02 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from last Friday; mutton was 62.96 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from last Friday; eggs were 7.35 yuan/kg, down 1.1% from last Friday; and white-feathered chickens were 17.54 yuan/kg, down 3.0% from last Friday. The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.68 yuan/kg, down 2.1% from last Friday; the average price of the 6 key monitored fruits was 7.83 yuan/kg, down 1.5% from last Friday. Grass carp was 19.12 yuan/kg, down 1.2% from last Friday; carp was 13.75 yuan/kg, down 2.0% from last Friday; white sturgeon was 9.96 yuan/kg, down 3.8% from last Friday; and large ribbon fish was 40.57 yuan/kg, unchanged from last Friday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products in the domestic wholesale market that are being closely monitored, the top five varieties with price increases compared to last Friday are big yellow croaker, watermelon, pork, lotus root, and green beans, with increases of 3.4%, 3.1%, 1.4%, 0.8%, and 0.6% respectively; the top five varieties with price decreases were cauliflower, lettuce, pear, rapeseed, and zucchini, with decreases of 9.6%, 7.2%, 5.5%, 5.3%, and 5.0% respectively.
