On October 20, the "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products 200" rose by 0.37 points compared to last Friday.

According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "200 Index of Wholesale Prices for Agricultural Products" on October 20 was 120.13, rising by 0.37 points compared to last Friday, and the wholesale price index for "grocery basket" products was 121.28, rising by 0.44 points compared to last Friday. As of 14:00 today, the average wholesale price of pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 17.72 yuan/kg, down 1.7% compared to last Friday; beef was 66.14 yuan/kg, down 0.3% compared to last Friday; mutton was 61.76 yuan/kg, unchanged compared to last Friday; eggs were 7.48 yuan/kg, down 0.5% compared to last Friday; and white striped chicken was 17.57 yuan/kg, down 0.7% compared to last Friday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.09 yuan/kg, up 0.4% compared to last Friday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.00 yuan/kg, down 1.7% compared to last Friday. Crucian carp was 19.71 yuan/kg, up 1.0% compared to last Friday; carp was 13.91 yuan/kg, down 0.2% compared to last Friday; grass carp was 10.15 yuan/kg, up 1.6% compared to last Friday; and large belt fish was 40.22 yuan/kg, down 2.4% compared to last Friday.

Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products in the domestic wholesale market that are under key monitoring, the top five varieties with price increases compared to last Friday were green beans, rapeseed, cucumber, spinach, and lettuce, with increases of 3.5%, 3.4%, 3.1%, 2.6%, and 2.5% respectively; the top five varieties with price decreases were duck pear, watermelon, large green onion, large belt fish, and spring onion, with decreases of 4.0%, 3.7%, 3.4%, 2.4%, and 2.3% respectively.
