On October 31st, the "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" rose by 0.38 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "200 Index of Agricultural Wholesale Prices" was 125.02 on October 31, rising 0.38 points from yesterday, and the wholesale price index for "grocery basket" products was 127.03, rising 0.44 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average wholesale price of pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 17.80 yuan/kg, down 0.9% from yesterday; beef was 66.24 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday; mutton was 62.84 yuan/kg, up 1.1% from yesterday; eggs were 7.36 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday; and white-feathered chickens were 17.47 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.69 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.04 yuan/kg, down 2.4% from yesterday. Carp was 19.04 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday; crucian carp was 13.91 yuan/kg, up 0.9% from yesterday; white sturgeon was 10.08 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday; and large ribbonfish was 38.66 yuan/kg, down 1.0% from yesterday.

Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products in the domestic wholesale market that were closely monitored, the top five with price increases compared to yesterday were Chinese cabbage, cauliflower, chives, lettuce, and green beans, with increases of 4.9%, 3.8%, 3.7%, 3.2%, and 3.2% respectively; the top five with price decreases were Kyoho grapes, Fuji apples, straw mushrooms, flower carp, and green onions, with decreases of 5.2%, 2.8%, 1.9%, 1.8%, and 1.7% respectively.
