With around 4 million hives spread across all latitudes, Argentina is a leader in honey production and is positioned as the second largest exporter and the third most important producer in the world. The flip side of this productive work lies in health care. Ideally, the logic of "prevention rather than cure" should prevail, especially since there are certain pests already widespread in the region that have posed a latent risk to the country for years.
