It is news in the province of Salta that two former officials of Senasa were convicted of committing irregularities in the control of animal transit, possibly to favor cattle rustling or the sale of livestock in the black market. The former employees of the agency were working in the office of Joaquín V. González, in the heart of the Salta mountains. This town is located on Route 16, which leaves Salta and leads to the Chaco, also crossing northern Santiago del Estero. These are provinces that suffer a high level of cattle theft. Therefore, the importance of functioning controls there is superlative.
