An orange code for significant rainfall has been declared in 5 regions of Northern, Central Northern, and Southern Bulgaria on Tuesday. Rainfall amounts between 35 and 65 liters per square meter are expected there.
In the regions with a yellow code, rainfall up to about 35 liters per square meter is expected.
The weather will be mostly cloudy, but around noon, the rains are expected to decrease and stop from the West. The wind will be moderate, and temporarily strong in the Danube Plain and Upper Thracian Plain. Maximum temperatures will be between 11 and 17 degrees. In Sofia, around 11, and in Plovdiv and Varna, around 15 degrees.
In the coming days, more sunshine is expected in the mountains and mountain areas. In the morning, fog will be present over the plains and basins. There will be no significant change in temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday.
On Friday and Saturday, they will slightly increase. By Saturday, more sunshine is expected. On Sunday, an increase in wind and rain showers is expected, first over Northwestern Bulgaria.
