The Oryol Region in Russia has imported agricultural products worth USD 35.4 million since the start of the year, with dairy products and poultry eggs making up 61.3% of these imports. Belarus and France were the main suppliers for these products, with cheese and cottage cheese being the most imported dairy item. Meat and meat by-products accounted for 25.9% of imports, mainly from Belarus, with frozen cattle meat being the most imported meat product. The region also imported live animals, animal feeding products, and a small amount of processed plant products. Imports included various other food products, vegetables, cocoa products, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
