Our beekeepers have joined the Apimondia 2025 World Congress

Bulgaria took an active part in the 49th Apimondia World Beekeeping Congress 2025, which took place from 23-27.09.2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark. At this prestigious event, bringing together beekeepers, scientists, and experts from around the world, our country presented the best samples of Bulgarian honey within the special exhibition area "Global Honey Bar". Over 7000 delegates from 121 countries had the opportunity to taste honey from 42 countries. Bulgaria presented honeys from acacia, forest bouquet, chestnut, coriander, lavender, linden, rapeseed, and of course Strandzha manna honey, which is the only one in our country with a protected geographical name. A special page was created for each type of honey, presenting the beekeeper with photos and information about the area of their apiary.
