In the 2023/24 marketing year, Ukraine exported 653,000 tons of soybean meal from September to July, marking a 23% increase from the previous season. The European Union, particularly Poland, remains the primary destination, with Poland receiving 51% of the total exports, a 37% rise from last season. Ukrainian soybean meal exports have been on the rise for three consecutive seasons, enhancing domestic soybean processing. The total exports for the 2023/24 season are projected to reach 680-690 thousand tons, the second highest in history after 2018/19, with Europe identified as a potential premium market.
