The government of Crimea has provided subsidies for the planting of walnut, almond, and hazelnut orchards on over 370 hectares of land. The total area of walnut orchards in Crimea has surpassed 2,000 hectares, with a quarter of them already bearing fruit. The state support has been vital in planting 1,500 hectares of nut orchards, and this year agricultural producers plan to harvest from 446 hectares, slightly more than the previous year.
