According to local market operators, unfavorable weather conditions in Moldova throughout almost the entire last summer month had an adverse effect on greens and other crops of the fruit and vegetable group. In parallel with the gradual decrease in the supply of greens, sellers, although not drastically, but for several weeks already raised selling prices for greens. Since the beginning of the outgoing week, these actions have led to a drop in buying activity, and in order to at least approach the previous sales rates, sellers have reduced prices for all positions without exception. Moreover, the prices were revised downward more radically than they had increased before. Parsley in Moldova at the end of the reporting period became more affordable by 11% than a week earlier, and dill lost twice as much in price, namely 20% of the previous cost.
