The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Indonesia reported a decrease in the price of unhusked rice and rice at various levels from farm to retail in November 2024. This decrease was attributed to the abundant stocks of rice in all national rice centers, especially in Bali, Jambi, and Sumatra. The average national rice price at the farmer level also fell by 1.86% monthly and 6.18% annually. Similarly, the price of rice at the milling and retail levels also experienced a decrease.
