Paraguay exported more than 149.5 million kilos of beef during the first five months of 2025, representing an 18% growth in volume and 37% in value compared to the same period of the previous year, according to official data from the National Service of Animal Quality and Health (Senacsa). The Senacsa report, released this Monday, reveals that beef exports generated revenues of almost $848 million until May. The main destination for Paraguayan meat was Chile, which purchased more than 45 million kilos, followed by Taiwan with more than 20 million, the United States with 18.6 million, and Israel with 12.1 million kilos. Pork exports also showed a significant increase: 5.6 million kilos were sent abroad, valued at $15.7 million. This volume represents a 40% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
