Between August 2018 and July 2020, Paraguay successfully exported 46 items to 35 new markets, as reported by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC). The countries include Albania, Germany, Angola, Argentina, and many more. The MIC also facilitated the automotive industry's growth, producing 245,324 motorcycles, 15,643 bicycles, among other vehicles. To foster industrial development, the MIC issues certificates and approves projects under incentive regimes, with a total of 31,192 National Product and Employment Certificates and 10,402 Raw Material certificates issued. Additionally, Paraguay has formed sectorial platforms to enhance the competitiveness of various industries, including Food and Beverages, Textile and Apparel, and Meat and Derivatives, among others. The country has also signed automotive sector agreements with Argentina and Brazil, and agreements with the European Union and EFTA, aiming to further boost its national industries.
